A short reply to Mr. Flowers

There is a a giant line called common sense and responsibility that separates:
A. Attacking another country; invading its soil; overthrowing its president & system of government based on NO evidence that the country was any kind of threat to either us or our alleys.
B. Defending your home; your government; your family from an immediate threat from an invading and hostile country.

The true conservative is NOT an imperialist. Perhaps you have not studied the writings and platforms of conservatives throughout our history including those by George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, Thomas Pane, John C. Calhoun, John Tyler, Jefferson Davis or even those from more recent times, Ronald Reagan, Jessie Ventura, or Ron Paul.

While none of these conservatives would have invaded and overthrown another country based upon false evidence of terrorism, many of them were involved in wars and conflicts that had been unavoidable and for the safety of the safety of their countrymen.
A few examples include:
The war of 1812. England invaded US soil.
The Mexican American War. Mexican troops crossed the US border along the Rio Grande under the authority of their government.
The War Between the States. United States troops refused to vacate a garrison which was within the territorial waters of the Confederate States of America.
The same month Lincoln issued a call to arms for 75,000 volunteers to cause an armed invasion of the Confederacy, and invasion not unlike the English invasion of the newly independent colonies in 1776.

The true conservative is not against war for the purpose of defense and one executed through the will and approval of the people. Yet, only a liberal (like LBJ) would nod to a war that brings nothing but misery to the US and death to Iraq and continues even without the consent of the American public.

Lincoln did start the Civil War without the consent of the people. In fact, during his administration more than 7,000 thousand citizens including agents of the press were arrested and jailed without trial simply for opposing his invasion of the Southern States.  One of these men was none other than the grandson of Francis Scott Key.
Though it is so that the majority of the Northern States did favor causing bloodshed against their Southern neighbors, I believe that it was because they were more interested in putting their industrial and war profiting interests before admitting the South's legal right to be free.

One thing that I have never been able to understand was how modern day Republicans seem to brag at being the party started by Lincoln even though that party held a far different platform than today's.  While the modern day Republican platform stands for lesser government and less taxes and more faith based community awareness, Lincoln went to war to uphold that central government had absolute authority over the states and the people. Lincoln going further beyond the bounds of the constitution created more sperate forms of taxation during four years than during any other point in history including World War II.  As goes faith, Lincoln was the only American president to of included doubts towards Christianity in his writings.

The South did not break the law of the land but had upheld it. Secession was included into the United States Constitution for two very important reasons. The right of secession was included so that it would be clear to future generations that the states owned the final say and authority over their destiny-that the states and their people could never be harmed by the Federal Government as long as they had a way out if need be. The second reason that the right of secession was included (ironically) was that in the event of a state or states separation, a civil war or revolution would be avoided. For in 1776 the colonies had no legal right to leave England and that was what justified England's decision to fight. By making secession a legal practice within the constitution, separation would be a protected form of action.
It was the North under Lincoln who did not abide the law of the land. Lincoln and the North took the rights of decision, free will, and self government from not only the states and the people then but the future generations of all Americans.

Secession was included into our constitution because our forefathers knew that no matter how perfect the government they formed was, it was no guarantee that it would always be as it should. They knew that they had no control over how future generations may lead the government.  They had no certainty that the government would always follow the constitution.

When the Southern states agreed that their role in the government was second class and inferior to that of the North, made more obvious by Lincoln's election, they saw no alternative to submission except secession.
Yet, despite the constitution, Lincoln and his administration led an armed invasion of over one million volunteers to occupy the Southern states...Atlanta, Charleston, Columbia, Richmond, Jackson all burned and destroyed by men from Illinois, Maine, and Minnesota. Men from Mississippi, Texas, and Alabama died by the thousands in POW camps in Chicago, Elmira, and Boston.

The history that has been rewritten was the history of the United States War against the Confederate States.

The true conservative (to the earlier point) is not a party man.  He is one who pledges allegiance not to a king, queen, president, or flag, but to his rights.  Rights not given to him by a government, legislator, or country but by the people.  If Republicans or any other party does not uphold these old (aka conservative) ideas then he is not a conservative.

Of course there are many other ideas and principals that a conservative considers but these I included are what define him most.  At the time, Washington, Jefferson, and Franklin were liberals.  Yet, their ideas gave birth to today's conservative.

Cause of our Chaos part 2

Other than the strange hand in hand time-line of Reality TV's popularity and the loosining of our control and care of our own government is our growing addition to phyc meds and pain killers.  Here in my own city two new pharmacies have been constructed recently, both within one mile of each other.

Not only are the majority of adults on these medications but they are being handed out just as much to our kids.  Kids today are no more crazy or insane than they have been for thousands of years.  Yet, parents are now treating many of the common and normal characterstics of childhood like diseases of the minds.
In truth, the parents, just trying to enjoy their own high and dope tranquility, are becoming less patient and accepting of the levels of energy that normal children are supposed to have.  They are becoming as determined to quite their children's existence with perscription drugs as they attempt to achieve the same for themselves.  It makes sense to them that their children should become more quite and dumb.  Cause all these users want now is peace.  Where madness, energy, dancing, and skipping used to represent a healthy and creative child, it is now treated like an exhausting load to deal with.

Within these past nine years I have noticed more and more of my friends and family becoming addicted and dependent upon prescription drugs and in this same time frame, also the time frame of reality tv, mind you, I have noticed the sad, tired, and careless decline in our society and culture.  These and other things, I am confident, are sapping the soul, the energy, the passion, and the life out of a society of a free people.  The reality of our society is becoming as much a farce as Reality TV.
Sorry Brooke, but you and your new room mate are screwing with are a part of a cancer being digested by our country's soul.  Forget American Idol. Lest we loose the American Dream est. 1776.
How much life, liberty, and pursuits be sacrificed due to our country's dependence on the illusions of television or the foggy realms of prescribed "pain" (passion) killers and "antideppresants" (anti-actions). .

Brooke knows...(How to Act)

I often complain of the different issues that produce American idiots or cause my countrymen to allow the abuse and injury of their rights.  Many times I wince at our country's almost united stupidity towards its own history or failing to responsibility maintain the rights and traditions needed to guarantee liberty, independence, and security.

This rant is towards America's strange and misguided love affair and understanding of 'reality TV.'  I can't believe that millions of Americans still honestly believe that their votes count on American Idol.  I can't believe that most Americans don't argue on behalf of the likelihood that not only are all the contestants of the talent show pre-chosen based on their characters and their ratings level but that the winners and losers and how they will win and loose are pre-decided by the show's producers.  This truth first came to me when the She bang she bang Chinaman appeared on an aired audition a few years ago.  It seemed hardly conceivable that of the many thousands of Americans who do have a talent for singing, that a guy with so little talent should so happen to appear in front of the three main judges (each judge worth double-digit millions).  His appearance was a curve ball, a ratings work of genius.  Never mind the fact that many of the arguments between the judges appear scripted.

Why would American Idol script these auditions and performances and results so painfully?  It is because the network and the producers have so many millions of dollars invested in it.  How much money it will earn or how popular the show will continue to be hinges completely on the auditions, performances, victories, and defeats featured at the center of the show's theme.  If the public did have as much say in the show's outcome as we are made to believe, then the producers would have no way of providing the best season possible.  The producers, in their pre-decisions know already which contestants would draw the most viewers and which victories or defeats would cause the most drama.  Reserving the season's structure to public votes would cause chances that those who profit the most would rather avoid.

I think that the reason Americans are not raising their eye brows towards these obvious contradictions of what reality TV is simply because...they do not care.  Whether rigged and scripted or not, America still gets its show.  This would explain why wrestling, as obviously fake as it is, continues to grow in popularity.  Watching some wrestling the other day I could not believe in how outrageous it has become while involving detailed quarles between wrestlers and WWE managers, personality feuds and challenges between wrestlers.  Drama, real or not, is awesome.

The other day, I also watched an episode of Brooke Knows Best.  It is one of many "off shoot" reality shows appearing these days.  (Reality series stemming from a previous one like for example I love NY from Flava of Love).  Just as with countless other reality series, Brooke Knows Best (an offshoot of Hogan Knows Best) is presented as a pure and honest day by day life of Brooke Hogan living in Miami.  Yet, it only took a few minutes for me to realize just how scripted her series is.  The first clue is the one that seems to deface every other reality show.  The characters and even the extras constantly go about as if there are no group of producers or cameras present.  I've seen an actual set of a reality show before and there are many shades of lights, sizes of cameras, and types of people with clip boards and mics.  Have you ever wondered just how these characters seem to wake up in the morning with fabulous hair and soft makeup?
If it were a true reality show, the people along the street or at the beach would gawk or wave to the camera.  It is what people do.  People don't just see a scene of Brooke Knows Best or The Osbornes go by them without doing a double take!

The second and just as obvious clue is how every little situation, argument, or problem seems to happen and work out as if it were...scripted.  Honestly, peoples' lives, even celebrity's lives are not that interesting day to day.  A true reality show would be boring for the most part.

In this episode of Brooke Knows Best she and her female roommate were having issues with their newest roommate.  This guy was such a slob and he looked the part.  He slept nude in the living room and he woke Brooke up in the middle of the night to ask how to turn on the hot tub for him and his date.  Can you imagine that ANYBODY would sleep nude in Brooke's living room with the knowledge that a reality show was being filmed there?  Even if it was a self-promoting stunt on his part, it was not natural, and he was not as clueless as the scene made appear. Alsot, would somebody as famous as Brooke accept a room mate like this or at least kick him out after the first of these signs?  Can you imagine anybody waking up Brooke Hogan in the middle of the night to figure out how to turn on a hot tub, especially while being filmed?  It was clear that this guy was not only paid but also asked for these performances.  The show demanded his role.

I do not lay awake bothered by the fact that America buys into the phony production of reality tv nor do I suffer more than a little that our whole culture is being turned on by a strange version of the blood sports of Roman times when battles and scenes were staged to look real for the public's entertainment.  Instead of blood, these modern-day Roman entertainment thrives off drama, backstabbing, drug and relationship issues, and other forms of the human illness.

Yet, sometimes I am concerned that all this reality entertainment is having more of a bad influence on America other than just a distortion of reality and sliming of values and dignity.  Since reality TV really started becoming popular with Survivor, Americans have become more seduced, entranced, and obsessed with television than ever.  The evidence is clear in the number of camera flashes that surround Paris Hilton or Linzy Lohan.  (Following the dysfunctional lives of celebrities is becoming a reality TV clique in its own right becoming more and more popular).

Is this recent fetish of reality tv culture damaging?  Can it be one of the causes why we the people have allowed so many of our rights to be axed and have allowed so many of our public leaders to continue to be corrupt, abuse their powers, and tax and spent beyond our consent?  I ask this because I have heard more than a few novel Americans chime that our country does not care what state it is in as long as American Idol is still scheduled.  It also seems that before reality television became the phenomenon that it is now, Americans were much more aggressive with making our leaders accountable for corruption or lies.  Before the age of reality TV we forced the resignation of Nixon because of crimes his staff committed.  Before this time we impeached President Clinton for lying about a sexual experience outside his marriage.
Yet, since this reality tv dynasty began, we have allowed our current president to invade Iraq without congressional support or declaration.  We've not impeached him for using false information to invade and conquer a whole other country that caused thousands of deaths of our troops and hundreds of thousands of unarmed civilians.  We've not held Bush accountable for carrying on a war beyond the goal he set of capturing Sadam Hussein.  We've stood by while he continued the war years beyond his public declaration that the mission had already been accomplished.  We've not only allowed but we re-elected him.  And now Americans have ushered two men, McCain and Obama onto our ballot, who show virtually no promise of being the people's representative or becoming an ardent defender of the people and the constitution.  And we did not protest enough against the media when it made its own conscience decision to censure and silence a candidate who had the qualities of liberty and justice in his heart, Ron Paul.
Was revolution, revolt, riots, or tea parties sacrificed by the seduction of Reality TV culture?  The timing of it along with the timing that so much started going to hellsbells seems more than a coincidence.

Nay, it is true that this isn't the first period in our history that we have allowed bad things to happen.  Did American citizens not also allow the Lincoln Adminstration's armed invasion of the Southern states for executing their right of secession?  Did we not also allow our government to conduct an armed take over of every native settlement out west?  The thing is, the only reasons why those things happened was because the citizens just wern't succesfull in preventing it.  The difference between now and then was that then, there were plenty of Americans who aggressivly stood by their principals especially when their government contradicted them.  Defeat was not dishonor, for again, Americans always try.  In one example where many Americans campaigned on behalf of their rights and values was the late 60s, the protests against the War in Vietnam.  Sometimes the people was succesful and sometimes not.
These days even the public protests have lost their bite.

Another fact that causes me to wonder about Reality TV's role in the direction of our country was in an earlier part of this discussion.  For hundreds of years, Rome was a republic and its course was decided by its tradition of democracy and elections.  However, about the same time that the Roman empire's territory was at its greatest expanse, during the period when Rome was the greatest world power, just as America is today, it also started to decline.  Now the arrogance of being so powerful and victorious played only a part of its demise.  What really vaporized the empire from the earth forever was when its citizens forfeited their responsibilities and power to a few just as we have forfeited many of our rights and responsibilities to our government.  Those few that included Nero and other corrupt and faulty emperors could not help but allow the empire to fail.  That is what happens when something is trusted to such incompetence.  Why did the Roman citizens allow all their rights to bleed away and for the security and future of their empire to be given to so few, so unqualified?  Around the same period when Rome changed from a republic to an empire and then to nothing, Roman citizens were engrossed and blinded by gratifications and excess.  The most notorious of these distractions were the public and private orgies and the great gladiator shows performed for VIPs and the simple people alike.  The people became so involved in their own self interests and what made them feel good that they lost all control over their empire.  This may have been the plan all along for those then who sought such power.
I wonder today, if the same isn't happening in our society.  The average American appears to care more about the next episode of John and Kate plus Eight than they do about the disturbing direction our country is going in at the hands of incompetent leaders.  In fact not even global warming is taken as seriously as the most high and mighty liberals think it should.  All in all, most Americans do not go any further than blogging about an issue rather than working to fix it.  I stand accused.

30 Days and just as many missed points

Several weeks ago I watched an episode of the TV series, Thirty Days.  I am not sure what network it was on but it really doesn't matter.  I wanted to make some comments on it then but had long since been busy with other things.  But I never forgot.
This particular episode included an anti-gun advocate that was invited to spend thirty days with meat and potatoes gun-loving Americans.  The young woman reportedly knew some victims of violence.

One of the first things I noticed was when she rebuked a family's desire to defend themselves with guns by saying that the family was too paranoid.  Yet, throughout the first part of the show, the young woman appeared very fearful and expressed anxiety (and paranoia) about being under a roof with gun owners.  It is a very wry double standard when you start think about it.
Why couldn't this young woman see that maybe the family experienced a similar paranoia as her that was caused by living in a world where criminals own guns regardless of the laws?  Maybe that is why this family chose to get guns?
The young woman was paranoid about being in a house with guns.  Maybe this family was paranoid about being in a world with guns.  Why couldn't the young woman not understand why this family chose to address this fear by owning guns instead of trusting unarmed school staffs, workplaces, and other unarmed places in public to protect them?  Why would it be so hard to understand why it seems more logical to trust guns in your own home to protect you rather than emergency systems that may or may not arrive on time?
In a world where the fear of violence is real, the family featured in this show addressed that fear using their brains.  For there is no better way to address the fear of becoming a victim than by gaining the most logical means to protect yourself from becoming one.

I just can't believe that young woman or any other person in this country can actually believe anti-gun laws in this country actually protect anybody.  The fact is criminals will have guns always.  Gun laws would only limit the number of law abiding gun owners.  Was making street drugs and prostitution or domestic violence illegal as successful as we would like? No!  Making things unlawful has never completely curved the actions of a society.  Yet, unlike many things that are now illegal, the right to bear arms is not only the best and most logical means of protecting ones self and family but it is also one of the most specific rights guaranteed by the constitution.  By limiting our right to bear arms, our government is not only decreasing our chances to live through an act of violence but it is also stripping us of one of our country's proudest virtues and sacred of rights!

Near the end of the episode, the young woman took the family's son, Zack on a field trip to visit a major college nearby.  Her goal was to attempt to alter his affection towards guns and gear him toward more acceptable interests.  If I was Zack or his family, I would have personally been offended at her disrespect towards Zac's choice to honor a sacred family tradition and right as a citizen.  By attempting to distract Zack's love for rifles and taking him to view a college, the young woman was basically urging him to become interesting in something else.  She was attempting to distract him from an interest that made him safe and close to his family as if that interest were towards drugs or porn.
Lastly, when the two were visiting the college campus I couldn't help but thinking of Virginia Tech.  How many dozens of lives could have been saved if any of the students or professors caught in the cross fire of that terrible tragedy actually had guns on their person?  That the young woman visiting this college campus looked so safe and comfortable spoke legions of her ignorance.  It was evident during those scenes that she had no clue just how vulnerable and unprotected she and Zack were visiting that campus where no armed good guys were around.  While visiting that college, how could she be so confident and sure that they would not witness random acts of violence that are becoming more common at universities today?

Because we can not ban every single bad guy and loose screw from owning a fire arm and because we cannot have a portable policeman living with every person 24/7, Americans need to take the safety of themselves and their families more seriously. Everyone needs to reconsider the gross irresponsibility towards our safety we are allowing when anti-gun laws are passed.

Until every American appeals and demands its full and unrestricted rights to own firearms, I do not see us taking the safety of our families that seriously.
What a sick distortion; since 9/11 we have allowed our government to snap due process for arrests and charges in two, dismantle our privacies, and bury our freedoms in the name of the Patriot Act, Shock and Awe, and Operation Iraqi Freedom to name a few from a few dozen.  That any of these measures have made us any safer or have produced anything other than attacks upon on our rights is a farce to the honest person.
And now, as our government produces more anti-gun laws, we are becoming much less safe and secure from an enemy much more common than terrorism, domestic violence, school shootings, kidnappings, and home invasions. And again, as with post 9/11 national security measures, anti-gun laws are further breaking new world liberty to pieces.

Our liberties and rights protected by the law are being killed.  And why not?  We the people and our states were charged with the responsibility of protecting the laws that protect our rights.  For several decades, average Americans have avoided the responsibility of maintaining our rights and protecting them from injury by anyone including the government.  The problem is not about what is happening but about what we are letting happen.

Townhall: Republican or Conservative?

Before I come upon the point I originally logged on to share, I would first like to share my thoughts regarding the pro-McCain and anti-Obama propaganda being advertised here.  If Townhall is attempting to produce a conservative vibe here by showing this support for McCain and opposition towards Obama, I must say that you've lost me terribly.
The conservative message, as I understand it is a principal dictated by old values that not only made our country a success story once upon a time but was also the same spirit that helped found this nation of sovereign states.  The true conservative's role is to not become blindly loyal to a man just because he belongs to a certain party.  Rather the conservative role is to preserve the most precious and endangered right that the Federal government should have no control or influence over the sovereignty of the states and the people of those states.
Being a conservative is about not stumping or standing for rights protected by the constitution such as the right to bear arms, privacy, and countless other freedoms but actually living them.
Enough of McCain's history in the senate and plans if elected to the white house stray as far from conservative roots as Obama!  In fact, picking a woman for his choice of VP says clear enough that he is attempting to rally Hillary's camp to his side.  A conservative candidate should be concentrated on rallying conservatives to his side by declaring conservative ideas.  Again, instead, he is more concerned with attracting Hillary's liberal numbers only because they are large numbers.  He is more concerned about gaining the coolest job in the world than performing the responsibilities of a Republican platform.  His decision to prolong the Iraq war for another hundred years if need be is so distant from the values of conservatives.  True conservatives believe that the true wars are being waged at home and that the money they are being taxed by the billions should be spent for the home of the taxed rather than overseas.  The true conservative's values and ideas are dictated by those that developed our country from the secession from England.
A. Lincoln was the first Republican president.  During that period in history, the Republican party stood for big government, central powers, high tariffs, and limited rights.  It does seem that the party is coming that way again or at least merging with the Democrats.  Lincoln insisted a war upon the Southern Confederacy without the consent or approval of the states in the Union that did not secede.  When even the first draft in history, the first income tax, sales tax, and property tax failed to produce for Lincoln the necessary number of combat soldiers and materials, his government then started recruiting Irish and German immigrants by the hundreds of thousands to fight for the South.
Lincoln motivated thousands of new immigrants to our country to use them towards his goal of empire and to conquer the Southern States.
McCain in turn wanted to offer amnesty and other pro-illegal immigration laws for immigrants from Mexico so that big business he is invested in would be able to have local, unregulated, and cheap labor and manufactures.
The spirit of true conservatives today, war should not be declared without the consent of the people and their congress or the consent of the states.  Our country should not be involved in oversees affairs no matter what the reasons.  Lastly, all taxing and spending including that for national defense should be limited to the consent and governing of those who are taxed.
A conservative does not want a president who wants to continue a war without the approval or consent of the people.

Ron Paul was a true conservative candidate.  Yet because most Republicans as well as Democrats choose to protect private and personal interests rather than principals, McCain is the safest choice.  The conservative American who shows the heart of 1776 America, 1836 Texas and 1861 Dixie, the conservative American that sees no hope in a presidential candidate but rather the people and their constitution is perhaps the most surprised minority in our country.  His message and his ideas are censured from all parts of our great society.  For if the voice of the conservative was declared loud enough and brought into being, politicians would be held accountable for acting beyond the authority of the people and constitution, corrupt ties between Washington and international business would be exposed and demolished, and the media and government giants of our country would have less power and force than the people.
In short, anyone that profits from the demolition of our rights does surely shiver when in the presence of an American Conservative.

Townhall, are you Republican or are you a Conservative?  Are you for war or are you for the people's fight?
Lastly, how can you knock the Democrats for their pro abortion stands when the deaths of hundreds of thousands of middle east citizens and American soldiers is heroic?

John Mc-insane & Obama Hussein (More like John and Yoko)

America...led by a bunch of stinking idiots.  Oh my God...I said it!  If I were in politics I would be buck and gagged by the hypocrite judge, jury, and executer aka our government.  Holy jeepers, I did it again! I actually said aloud the very two views that most (honest) Americans feel.  They are also the very two views that people are too afraid to admit (out loud anyway).

The average citizen (the last line of defense) considers the rivalry between the Republicans and Democrats as bull poo and not worth caring about any more than one should care about promises that come from the top and out of violations of the Constitution.  Our destiny has never and should never be ruled by two parties of hypocrites and power lusters.  When this country was founded, it sought its destiny by staying in the center of a constitutional path.  The people as a whole, united, gave their hearts and all to maintain a government forever controlled by the people, the states, and their Constitution.

Today, to the disgust of a surprising number across the political lines, feel that both parties are different only by what is printed and promised rather than what is actually stood for and upheld.  If you ask A N Y American he or she would tell you that when ever has a president actually made at least one stand for his party's principals.  That such actions are as uncommon as a miracle saving an unborn baby from an abortion.  The two stumps are little more than what one candidate or another feels could be the fastest cart on the track to the coolest pad in America, 1600 PA Ave.

In case you are bewildered about where exactly is party allegiance, you have the right to know (actually you don't have a right to know). I belong to the VPOAP (VERY PISSED OFF AMERICAN PARTY).  If you never heard of it or belong to it now, I would be shocked.  The party boasts of more than three hundred million members!  Democrats and the Republicans running for office or maintaining a public image are failing, quicker by the day, to make voters believe the donkey or elephant poo.  Poo is what their promises are worth to the citizens of the United States of Confusion.  Our beloved national motto, In God We Trust. (Has it been removed from the currency yet? At least it remains imprinted upon my 2001 quarter and 2003 penny.) This beloved oath shared by the true popular vote offers peace and hope to more and more Americans that are beginning to feel a widening distance between they and their government.  Many more view the current bad system of things as a distant threat.

Ron Paul is surely the Sam Adams or Thomas Payne of our day.  However, it is terribly sad to note that Adams and Payne had a greater chance of success than Ron Paul being that England was not so much a force to be reckoned with compared to a corrupt and carefully fabricated behind the scenes election rules of today.

Supporters of the unique tyranny in our country might offer a pathetic appeal that Ron Paul had been on the primary ballots and lost his chance when the voters failed to respond favorably during the primary elections.  However, the low number of votes in Ron Paul's favor was not a fault of his own or his message but rather a massive media dominated blitz of censorship and manipulation.  For whatever reasons, reasons that would spark a revolution if they were made public, the media gushed every fraction of their power and investments to manipulate an election where Obama and McCain would absolutely be on the final ticket.  Perhaps their plan to carry McCain's nomination was supported because they knew he would be the most sure Republican to loose against Obama. (Who honestly believes that McCain could win?  Although not so much as Ron Paul, he is now suffering at least a porportionate taste of being snubbed by the media.  For Obama, in comparrison seems to already be making well documented international state trips!
Fox, CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC etc, etc, are nothing more or less or different than other billion dollar cooperations.  And just as most billion dollar cooperations lobby to help put candidates of mutal interest into office so too must the media cooperations as well.  Again, who of us (at least those of us with principal) could ever hope for an honest explanation of just how the media companies will profit from the election of one person over the other?

Ron Paul didn't have a chance from the second he did not make a deal.  When he declared to America that his loyalty and service belonged to the people and the states and to nothing else, the machine began its savage plot against him.

How can I be sure and confident of this level of corruption?  Most Americans do, yet, again, their voices have yet to sound and unite in order to cause a positive effect.
The interior campaigns to replace Ron Paul's message with silence and elude his presence by avoiding him had been very obvious and conspicuous during the length of the primary season.  Proof of the existence of this level of corruption exists when joining a stroke of common sense to a list of recent historical facts.  Of all the national televised Republican debates, every other candidate was able to speak more in one debate than the time allowed Ron Paul from all the debates combined!  Though Ron Paul had raised more funds to create prime time air space than Rudy Giuliani and Mike Huckabee combined, but a fraction of the networks agreed to air them.  And even those networks seldom ever included his campaign support.  Ron Paul did not receive the votes necessary because throughout the primary season, curtains of censorship motivated by private goals fell between a very worthy candidate and the voters of our country.

If the media born from the first amendment of the constitution had replaced the media of today in time for the election season, Americans would of learned, as is their right, all the truths that the news was created to produce.  Rather than learning on the news John Stewart thinks that McCain is old, or that Paris Hilton shaved her head (oops, never mind, that was Britney Spears' bald head on the front page cover of the Times) we would instead read that Ron Paul boasts the greatest number of supporters under the age of thirty than any other presidential candidate in history.

(Isn't it a conscience that the largest camp of Ron Paul supporters, the youth, are also the ONE group of American citizens that do not enjoy the same suffrage including the right to vote that every other citizen type has secured)?

Rather than not reporting or informing America detailed and signifigant cooverage regarding Ron Paul's values and commitments to national sovereignty, 2nd amendment rights, pro-life, troop withdraw from international squabbles, states rights, alternative energy and energy independence, the American dollar and economy, a constitutional media would give voters an equal and fair balance between his principals and those of the other candidates.  A constitutional media would not hinder our judgment or understanding of the different candidates by offering their own personal views.  The media should only exist primarily to satisfy our right to know.  It SHOULD NOT exist to decide what we should know and what we should not.  Nor should it exist to attempt to bombard and manipulate public conscience by publicly expressing opinions regarding their stories.

Ron Paul was a living example of this recent common spirit of negativity towards the present as well as the equally shared appeal for a positive change.  The well known symbols of his campaign such as the figures of Washington and Jefferson and the constitution offer a factual portrait of the congressman's principals.  The well worn and spoken term, Ron Paul Revolution does well to offer an understanding of the extent of change his election would bring.  And though all seems lost for him, American voters still have the power to elect him.  This country is YOURS and you, even in the spite of all this mess, have the true right as well as the opprotunity to make any decision to change any part of it and recreate its destiny.   On election day only one power lives. Ours.  Do not let the media or the system of things dictate or decide how you use that power, lest you surrender it to their will.  Research Ron Paul, help support his causes, and on election day write in his name.  Are we the people going to allow the media to alter our election day conscience just for the simple reason that they censured Ron Paul and say that it is useless to vote for him?

The fact that no other candidate could claim the same number of bi-partisan supporters and voters hailing from both parties than Ron Paul, admits to the point I made earlier regarding the true Americans' disenchantment with the illusion that candidates fail to represent their party if elected.

Jefferson Davis, the only president to have served as president of the Confederate States of America during its four year lifetime between 1861 and 1865 wrote in his last executive speech to his people, "If you but will it, then you are free."

Only when the people decide to practice a power greater than the media and Washington DC combined will a patriot like Ron Paul have an opportunity to provide his service to the people by serving in the executive branch.

And only when, in a burst of frustration for relief, the American people mount the stars with their concerns, will freedom and independence be ours again!

In a World where the Brave Die

In a world where the brave die...

It was my last line to my friend Rocky following one of our many billions of intense converations about one subject that everything has in common with-the truth.

We live in a time and maybe we always have, where the brave and the right are killed and the low and the wrong carry on hopelessly with false hope.  I have seen as much in my life that whether a man makes a public stand for the principal of right, love, or truth or rather lives those things quietly on his own quite path, he will suffer the anxietys of denial and hypocrasy on this earth.  And many like he, with a spirit so alive, is killed by spirits that have never truly lived!

Indeed, I can bloat this post with the gallons and miles of examples and explinations of this mortal and morbid fact of life existing in this human land but it far be more effective if you pin this fact to something you have personally seen or experienced.   For we have all seen how good and true can be sacrificed and how truly the good die young.

We hear about and know of thousands of soldiers in our army who die brave...sent to the places of their deaths by the evil of a few leaders.  Oh, how I ask our country, a country where WE are accountable because WE are supposed to be the deciders; how do we make and let evil leaders send so many of our innocent brave noble sons to die for another's conquest and flawed ambition?
For those of you who support Bush, how in the world can you make sense when you also say you support the troops?  Supporting a leader who sends the youngest and bravest of our land to die in fields that only he and his circle profit from...
Oh but we live in a world where we allow evil to lead.  We live in a world where we allow to be led to evil.

And in these past fifty or so odd years and post 9/11 we've allowed so many of our laws to become as evil and corrupt as what the laws in the Bible were made to save us from!  In a land, in a land as beautiful and right as ours, all laws whether they be few or many should have one thing in common-to protect the right against the wrong to protect justice against injustice and to protect freedom from tyranny.
However, we live in a world where the brave die.   We live in a world where there are laws that protect the wrong rather than the right, injustice rather than justice, and tyranny rather than freedom.  I have seen love outlawed by the law.  I have seen basic freedoms that grin from every corner of the constitution being forbidden.  I have seen people doing the right thing become prisoners.

We live in a world where the brave die.  We live in a country where our leaders are not servants.  We use the right to vote to elect people to control us. We live in a country where our fathers do not echo our forefathers.  We live in a world that is mixed up, where laws are created to control and hinder love and peace under a slogan of security and safety.  In my opinion, not surprisingly, these falsely advertised laws save nothing but the injust core of their true designs.
Good people with good hearts are restrained and silenced.  I see many who are friends, many who love, many who would protect and defend get beaten away like demons.  And in the place they were chased from true demons arrive with the ease and acceptance that I can never understand.

In this world where the brave die I still have hope and am gushing in it.  I laugh and smile and steal my little joys despite all the hell around and grown.  For there is a God, a very loving God.
This is not the god of the 700 club telemercials and the god wearing the color contrasting tie at a waxed plywood pulpit surrounded by fake ferns.  I refer not to a god that many are mislead into believing that 10% tides, one church, church raffles, or seclusion from all the world but the church could bring you close to him.  This is not the god owned, refered to, kept, promised by, handed out by, or limited to clean plump men with their suits or strange quite women with long hair or children forced to limit their souls and world to the seclusion of youth groups in the basements of pastors' brothers' homes.

NO, the God that gives me hope every day in all these ravages of sin, doubt, fear, and decline is THE GOD, the one God.  He is the God who allows the narrow plastic fern god to exist through mercy alone.
The true God of our universe is found and expressed in all our land's brave, the living and dead alike.  He is not a God of pologamy or several candles or a rabbit or star topped tree.  He is not the god who you feel guilty about missing when you can't fit into your church or find inspiration in cheap TBN programing or contimpary 'Christian' concerts.  He is the God that leads us through and past every sin that He had carried to the cross with Him.  He is the God of all the brave saints who were jailed and killed by evil leaders, their evil causes, and their evil laws.  Nothing else but The God gives glory to the right, the true, and good and judges those who do wrong, lie, and do bad.  Though we only see the dark results and hypocritical endings of human justice on this earth, eternity's true justice will begin when we pass from this planet as we all shall.  What is now, what is allowed now, what happens now, and what is forgotten now, will not last forever.  He gave us the earth and he gave us each a short life upon it.  And how we use this gift and live our life upon it will determine our soul's destiny when this gift is taken by death.

God gave us America and God gave us the brave.  It has always meant that the only laws that exist SHOULD be limited to those inspired by His word.  God gave us love and freedom.  God gave us the truth and it is that gift I share with you tonight.

I understand there may be a lot in this post that you do not understand for it is all almost too much for myself to understand.  If I don't understand it all, it doesn't matter, for although there is so much darkness and sadness in these truths, through God I can bear it!

The messages I try to share here are wild. I didn't have the power or talent to bring all the meanings to you as smooth and easy as I wished however honest and true they are!  I only do not delete the whole thing because I believe a few out there might capture some of it and give it life.

But to all of you I will share my appeal.  I will plant and grow a hope in me that many of you will heed and follow these following words today.
Please, allow people to love others regardless of any detail but it.  Encourage love and freedom to others and to yourself.
Respect, love, and befriend your children; trust them and listen to them.  Judge their friends only as you would judge your own; actions and words rather than anything else.
Protect them as you would protect yourself; with common sense, love, and understanding.   Teach your children to smile and to be kind and true.  Teach yourself to do the same.  Do not lie, do not judge, do not be a double standard, be the parent that all children deserve.
Teach yourself what you teach your children.  Live the lessons you teach your children, live as great as you inspire your children to live.
Make people smile today and salute the brave.  Appeal evil and open your heart to everything.  Honor the brave and let them live.

Are they ^@$%)&$% serious?!

I was channel surfing and got glimpse aka slap at MSNBC (or was it CNN?)  Big difference, hardy har! Yes, this post begins with an oozing sarcasim.  A true story all the same.

The anchor (who was it, Anderson, Katy, or Lou) said that today America has seen the highest gas prices in history.  $3.80 a gallon, national average.  (Its $3.79 a gallon here in Augusta, BOO HA!)  She rattled off this fact as if she was at Starbucks asking for non-fat cream and splenda for her venti non-decaff rather than telling America to dig deeper into our barren pockets as if the lent we find there would pay for a gallon of gas.

Raising her eye brow a notch and curving her smirk about two degrees this (probably famous) anchor jungle vined to a story that made us all forget that gas costs $3.80 a gallon.  Why, Obama won Oregon. Yes indeed, OBAMA WON OREGON!
$ 3.80 a gallon for gas, you just got served!

(I do not include the Oregon family of TLC's Little People Big World in this ranting rage of sarcasam, for I am truly confident that they voted for the candidate who is for the little man, Ron Paul).
I continued my channel surfing odyesse just missing the famous anchor's headline, Who has a chance on American Idol this week?

No ooze of sarcasam or appeals of truth from this or any other post will stem or stop the growing insanity of the media or the destructive power from our government and its war upon our lives.  $ 3.80 a gallon- 'tis is a warning sign rooted in all that is wrong about with everything...

The Peverted Founder & the Peverted world of Perverted Justice

JUDGE: Perverted Justice Founder Solicited child molestation
-John Cook, Radar Investigates

The pudgy, pasty, and creepy founder of Perverted Justice, the online vigilante group that NBC News pays to lure in gap-toothed perverts for Dateline NBC's "To Catch a Predator," narrowly escaped a taste of his own medicine last week. On August 10, a judge in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, issued a previously unreported order finding that "there is probable cause to believe that Xavier Von Erck solicited ... child molestation, statutory rape, or attempted child molestation or attempted statutory rape."

The case stems from a rather novel legal theory pursued by Robert E. White, whose son Robert Gerald White was arrested for attempted child molestation and attempted statutory rape after a Dateline sting in Harris County, Georgia, last year. The elder White thinks that Von Erck, by posing as a 15-year-old girl during online chats with his son, actually solicited the younger White into showing up at the Dateline house for sex. And in Georgia, solicitation is a crime.

Robert E. White's attorney, Gary Gerrard, went to a Georgia state judge last month seeking a warrant for Von Erck's arrest for criminal solicitation, and the judge, by and large, agreed: He issued an order stating that "there is probable cause to believe that Xavier Von Erck communicated with Robert Gerald White with intent that Robert Gerald White would engage in conduct constituting a felony." In other words, Von Erck wanted the younger White to break the law and tried to get him to do so, behavior that is usually considered criminal in Georgia. But the judge declined to issue the warrant, finding that there was no way the younger White could have actually committed the crime that Von Erck was soliciting him to commit—there was, after all, no 15-year-old girl to molest.

But it might not be that simple. Gerrard and other sources familiar with Georgia criminal law say the judge plainly got it wrong.

Georgia law clearly states that "it is no defense to a prosecution for criminal solicitation that the person solicited could not be guilty of the crime solicited." So if Von Erck were prosecuted for solicitation, he wouldn't be able to argue that he knew all along that no actual 15-year-old girl was going to be molested.

"The law says the impossibility of committing the crime is not a defense," says Gerrard.

What's more, White was charged with attempted molestation, a crime that he actually committed by showing up at the Dateline house. And that crime, the judge's order says, was solicited by Von Erck.

"It seems clear here that Von Erck did intend for this man to commit a felony," said Robert D. Leonard II, a Georgia criminal defense attorney who maintains a blog on Georgia law. "The felony would be attempted child molestation."

Gerrard says he is considering his options and may appeal the order.

In a statement, NBC said, "We believe our newsgathering and activities in connection with "To Catch a Predator" fully complied with Georgia law."

E-mailed for a response, Von Erck replied, "Thanks for contacting us for comment.  You're just a rather scummy fellow who writes for a tabloid rag. Other than being told that you're a scummy hack who resembles a stalker more than a journalist, we don't have any comment for you on this issue or any other issue."

Woa!  Did you see this coming? Sadly, I did.  I have a theory that I have seen proven RIGHT many times in my life.  More often than not those who go to fanatical extremes for misguided moral crusades are doing so to cloak their own demons.  They do this to mislead the public and for those who feel guilty, do it to mislead themselves.
Of the dozens of guys I've met in my life who expressed an all out hatred and malice towards homosexuality, two out of three of them had later asked me to have sex with them.  (I'm a guy).
I have seen the same true with people who are just as holy about pedophiles.  One dude up my street likes to prank call local sex offenders.  I tested my theory and without surprise found his scruffy face on the state sex offender list.
And who can forget ole Congressman Folly.  The leading crusader and champion against child abuse who resigned his seat in congress following aligations that he was soliciting sex online with a page-boy.

So without surprise, I found this article about the founder of Perverted Justice.  What I have trouble with, however, is how the media has kept this charge against him so hush hush.  Then again, MSNBC didn't have a lot to say about the man who killed himself when Perverted Justice came knocking on his door.
MSNBC does not want to admit to the fact that their Catch a Predator is getting people killed.  Luring men to ruin their whole lives is good for ratings, luring them to shoot themselves may upset those precious ratings. They just as much do not want people to know that the group who is responsible for their show's ratings and air time is led by a suspected pedophile himself!  Its pretty sad when the press censures issues and needed infromation from the public (Ron Paul).  Its a really sad day when the media censures from us their own nasty issues!

In the article I posted here I thought it was funny, and I laughed, that this Von Erck dude defends himself by saying that no actual crime happened because he really wasn't a fifteen year old.  Ummmmm....that is exackly what is so wrong about the whole Perverted Justice idea!
Most Americans like myself are all for neat little tactics to catch predators.  Yet, most Americans like myself are now starting to catch on that to Catch a Predator is seriously wrong.  How can you charge a man with child molestation or even soliciting when he was actually soliciting a middle aged fat man?
Also, people are starting to learn the true extent of how low Perverted Justice will go to fish in mentally ill, haven't-been-laid-in a long time chat room low lifes.  Those people with Perverted Justice for several hours instant message as many men out of the blue as possible.  Then, for days on end these entrapers will speak to the entrapped as sexual and suggesting as possible, all but begging (and moaning) for the person to visit.
The argument can be made that these guys shouldn't travel to meet an underage girl. True that.
Yet, some of these guys, under normal circumstances would not go that far.  I am positive some of them resist the requests and suggestions and pleas until their imagination gets ahold of them or they are just not strong enough to say no to the entrapper following  repeated and insistant pressure.
The whole Dateline thing and Perverted Justice just seems gross and dirty.
Personally I think that Von Erck is not the only one at Perverted Justice who gets off acting like underage girls and getting sexually graphic about it.  There is just something really wrong about men who sit at their computers and role play as a 15 year old nymph sex addict with hundreds of males across the country!
But Chris Hansen gets payed.

Is Perverted Justice a non-profit group set out to save all the children of the world? No.  The founder himself, Von Erck racks up hundreds of hours role playing more sexually graphic than any actual underage girl would be (except in his imagination).  And for his fun, Von Erck recieves 120,000 a year.

Perverted Justice indeed.

A Christian cynic's thoughts on the Hannah Montana scandle

The following will not be what you expect. Most who call themselves Christians would judge and say humilating things about Miley Cyrus without asking (or listening) to what God thinks about it. A moraless pre-Britney.

Funny though. I agree, this is how most who call themselves a Christian would act. It is ironic that these are the same people who have bumper stickers on their car that read, "What would Jesus do"? These same people will pass and cast thirty different types of worm wood and knashing teeth towards Miss Cyrus for those leaked photos of her and her friend. What would Jesus do? I'm not sure but I can tell you what he did.Jesus came to the rescue and gave refuge the a woman considered the lowest sort in society.
At the Temple, Jesus said to a very holy man to be more like the self acknowledged sinner. Lastly, while on the cross Jesus asked a sinner to his right to join him in paradise and asked that God forgive all for they knew not what they did.

So what would Jesus do in light of this "Hannah Montana Scandle?" Not to hint that Miley is either easy, a theif, or a tax collecter. But you get the point. He is merciful. He is compassionate. He taught and lived on compassion and mercy. He said in every way possible, over and over again, that His followers MUST be kind, loving, gentle, forgiving, and merciful. In fact He wanted us to include this in our prayer. "Forgive those who sinned against you (or anyone)." Yet He also drove it home by saying, Hey, now. While you are doing all well and good with forgiving people, how about asking for YOUR forgiviness as well?

The explosive response of judgment pours onto the Cyrus family not only from all parts of a secular society you would expect but also from the most holy of holy chruches were a God like Jesus is pretty much their thing. How can you worship something, pray to something, love something, yet totally ignore all that He did in his life or how He died? I imagine there are over a billion people in the world who worship and love Jesus Christ as our God and Creator as I do. However, I wouldn't be far off to imagine that a fraction of them are true Christians. A true Christian being one who not only studies the word but lives by it (the best he or she can because the only perfect Christian is a non-Christian).

Yes, I know I should eat my own words. Am I judging all those in the media and in our country who have judged Miss Cyrus? Dang, well, yeah. Forgive me, really. I know that it isn't my place to defend Miss Cyrus, for God has her well looked after. And so does her Dad. But it causes me sorrow to see how fallen our society is. And nothing hurts worse than seeing churches that I have prayed at, judging others. Lord forgive them, they know not what they do. But the sorriest thing about it is the fact that these Christians actually believe they are acting as good soldiers of Christ by speaking against Miley and her family! It is not their mistakes that I express these feelings about but rather their unchecked hypocrisy.

Every single day I make so many mistakes in my life. Sometimes I hurt my family, my friends, and God Himself. Yes, I know that the only way I will will miss out on a chance in Heaven someday is if I do not totally surrender ALL my sins to Him. I have to admit where I was wrong even if I believed I was doing the right thing.

Hypocrisy...lets chew on that for a second.

America lives in this dream world that those who you would judge first are those people, those sick os. Inappopriate desires and thoughts are more common than any of us want to imagine. Though thankfully the high majority of them will not act on their thoughts or fantacies. Yet, still, there are many out there who are as black as the kettle. Although I couldn't stomach to give a full hearted study on these following facts here is what I did gather. Type on search engine, Lo ita and you will get 42,050,000 different sites. Type in Forgive and you get THREE MILLION less entries. Something tells me that all those sites don't have to do with cliff notes!

Since this Scandle there are more than two million sites featuring the "photos in question." Those who slander them can't take their eyes off em. And You tube? (nuff said!)

A couple of years ago Congressman Folly, the crusaider to end all child endangerment and exploitation had to resign from his post in congress for being as dakr as the kettle. It is interesting to note that the awareness and enforsement of child protection laws that he stood behind were proved wonderfully effective the day he got caught.

Do I have a solution about what to do about all the who are weird like that? Sadly, no. If I wasn't such a sap for freedom of speech and forgiviness then maybe. But I do have a message for the hypocrites-peace, relax, forgive, forget, have mercy, love, be gentle, DO WHAT JESUS SAID, ah' ight!

Miley Cyrus' pics were no more lez or racy than any of the hundreds of thousands of the same you might find on photo bucket or youtube. GOD FORBID her and her friend might have a serious silly side. (God forbid any of us might). Should they of been playing hop scotch in those photos? How about dressing up as Hannah Montana singing Hannah Montana songs? Yeah....

God bless you all. I know that I am a true cynic about our country these days. Yes, sometimes I am tempted to scream out, "Where is the life, where is the liberty, where is the love"? If I did, I would just be another weird guy in this weird world.

Hypocrisy is only one of the countless challenges WE face, you and me, not to mention the country. When this so called scandle passes and the comments of this post remain at zero, my mind will travel as it always has. Tomorrow I'll wake up and ask, "when will liberals stop advocating the 'right' to kill babies. When will conservatives stop guilting teen mothers into considering an abortion"? Tomorrow I'll ask the same question I did today, "What would Jesus do"? 'Tis time for us ALL to ask, "What should we do"?

John Stewart Makes a Good Point...

I was watching John Stewart on Comedy Central's Daily Show the other night (honestly there was nothing on)!  Liberal and biased as he maybe, certainly just the flip face of Bill O Reily, I do agree with him on some points.  One being that our current administration sucks.

I would like to share with y'all a very valid and interesting point he made recently.  As we all know the administration and the Attorney General are on the defensive concerning tactics of torture used at our military prison in Cuba (I'm too tired to spell the name of the base).  One of the more recently proven and talked about methods used there is water logging.  Now people, I really have no idea what the hell water logging is.  Every time I want to look it up I find myself forgetting and will google something else. However, anyone who does know what this is all agree that this is a form of torture!

John Stewart recalled that following World Wart 2, Japanese prison administrators were tried for, convicted of, and executed for war crimes against American POWs.  One of the most damning parts of evidence against them was that they had used the Water Logging form of torture against our captured heroes.

Well, here in good ole 2008 our administration is saying that water logging against the terror suspects in Cuba is justified to get information to avert a catastrophic attack.
This is hypocrisy.

The Japanese used the very same defense against AMERICAN prosecutors, yet it made no matter.  Darn tootin, I agree with them!  Nobody should get away with that kind of torture no matter what reasons right?  That is what the AMERICAN prosecutors said in the post WWII trials.

John Stewart asked, "Why is it justified for us to commit this torture on our enemies when it wasn't okay for the Japs to use it on theirs?" Again, our administration answers that its justified to avoid, yada yadayada, you get the point.

The great point that Stewart raised was that didn't the Japs use the SAME argument?  You may reply that we have a good enough reason to use this method. The Japs didn't.
Yet, near the end of WWII, two atomic bombs were dropped on two Japan cities.  Could that be considered a ascatastrophe?  Is that the same sort of attack that we are hoping to avoid using water logging as a tool to interrogate terror suspects?

BOTTOM LINE:
The Japs used the method of torture known as water logging.  Their defense was that they wanted the kind of information as to find out in advance any planned assault against their country.

Our administration is allowing the same method of torture known as water logging.  Their defense is that they want the kind of information as to find out in advance any type of planned assault against our country.

Those Japanese who knew about or allowed these forms of torture were convicted of these as war crimes regardless of their defense.

My question is, Why does our administration feel that their same methods of torture are justified when just over sixty years ago representatives of our of country tried and convicted our enemies for allowing the very same torture for the very same reasons?

Another good point is that water logging and other forms of torture against their POWs evidently did not aid the Japanese in avoiding their catastrophic events.
I fear and can honestly bet that there are a number of people out there who would wish the same terrible events upon our soil.  Those terrorists may or may not be in custody today.  Regardless, water logging is not only as just as cruel as it
